A defect is NOT after you wear the hosiery, they run, rip, snag.... In case of defect, I will either refund or send a replacement, your choice. I will not ask for the original pair to be returned to me. A manufacture defect is NOT - I do not like the hosiery, I do not like the quality, color, size, fit.... QUALITY: Although I believe these are premium quality pantyhose, strong & durable, these are not run proof. Size will play the most important role in ensuring your hosiery will maintain it's durability. Too small & your height / weight will cause stress on the seams resulting in a run, tear, rip....most likely in the crotch area, waistband & / or toes. The care of your hosiery will also play a very important role; hand wash (with hosiery wash), hang dry, put on & remove with hosiery gloves. Dry, rough hands, fingernails, jewelry can snag hosiery which will cause a run. NEVER machine wash, NEVER machine dry or iron. These are designed to wear as uniform hosiery in a fast paced, busy environment (restaurants, casinos....) & are manufactured to withstand that environment. These have added Lycra to make them stronger than most store bought brands, but again, these are not run proof. Please handle & wear with care to protect your investment.
